Science classes can be some of the most challenging subjects a student can face. Many students who perform exceptionally well in school still struggle with science classes. This is because science is a very different subject to learn from the rest of the subjects in school. It requires a learning approach that some students have trouble grasping. There is also a good bit of memorization of strange words that students have never heard of before such as velocity, electron shells, pH, bases, nucleus, plasma membrane, glucose, and the Kreb's cycle. Also, particularly with physics and chemistry, the mathematics of algebra and geometry can come back to haunt students. We are here to help students master the skills necessary to excel in science classes and to develop the type of mind that can perform well in the ACT's science section. We also offer advanced level tutoring for students who are considering pursuing careers in the sciences. These include careers in engineering and medicine to name a few.
