Educational Philosophy-How We Tutor
The structure of our tutoring sessions are based on the needs of the student. For example, if a student is struggling with a class, we Tutor to the Class. This approach uses the student's grades, notes, book, syllabus, and the teacher's input as our guide for what needs to be covered in the tutoring sessions. In these tutoring sessions we work with the student on completing homework assignments as platform to teach the content and skills neccessary to do well in the class. We always aim for our students to make an A in their class. Many times we find that the student is deficient in material from past classes. We address these issues as needed in order for the student to grasp the material in their current class. For students that want to 'excel beyond the class', or learn a subject that they are currently not taking a class for, we create a custom syllabus to reach our learning goals.
